Quality at a glance.

The HotSpot Quality Index is the indicator that assesses each busway based on data analyzed by the software. It summarizes its status in three levels: normal, alert, or alarm.

UNDERSTANDING THE INDICATOR

Three levels.
An immediate reading.

The level is assigned to the busway. When a splice shows abnormal readings, that busway’s level changes to alert or alarm.

Green · Normal

No anomaly detected on the busway.

Yellow or orange · Alert

A deviation is detected on a splice. The busway moves to the yellow or orange level.

Red · Alarm

Abnormal readings on a splice move the busway to the red level.

Splices are the connection points between busway sections. Measurements taken there feed the analysis of its condition.

Measure

Depending on the installed sensors, Mercurio units collect surface temperature or relative humidity and ambient temperature.

Analyze

The software compares data over time and detects anomalies.

Assess

Abnormal readings on a splice change the label of the relevant busway: yellow or orange for an alert, red for an alarm.

The HQI provides a summary reading. Monitoring data and human expertise can then be used to examine the anomaly that changed the level.

Review the data

Monitoring makes it possible to review measurements and how they change over time. The HQI level helps identify the affected busway.

Plan maintenance

Experts interpret alerts in the context of the installation and its history. They provide corrective recommendations. Hotspot Tracking can also carry out maintenance work.
